Literary manager Josh Adler, formerly of New Wave Entertainment, has joined management and production firm Circle of Confusion.
Adler brings with him such clients as writers Ben Lustig and Jake Thornton, whose hot spec Winter’s Knight was acquired by Sony in February; Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, who wrote the Henry Cavill Greek gods fantasy Immortals; Stephanie Koff (Warner Bros.’ Marco Polo); and Josh Stolberg, who wrote Dimension’s Piranha 3D.
Other clients joining him include Richard Naing (Goldcrest’s Autopsy of Jane Doe), Derek Kolstad (Thunder Road’s John Wick), Kenny Smith (BET’s The Game), Andy Black (NBC’s Hannibal), Chris Baldi (Fox’s Scavengers), Jamie Turner (Fox’s Lie to Me), Robert and Michelle Lamoreaux (Nickelodeon’s Hey Arnold), Matt Boren (CBS’s How I Met Your Mother) and Jamie Abrams (MTV’s Punk’d), amongst others.?

Adler began his career in feature film development, working for such storied production companies as Robert Evans Company, Gracie Films and Red Wagon Entertainment.
He branched out into management by starting his own firm, Abstract Entertainment, before linking up with ROAR. Prior to Circle, he spent three years at New Wave.??
Circle of Confusion, which produces AMC’s The Walking Dead, reps writers ranging from Adam F. Goldberg and Max Landis to Oren Uziel and Jon Spaihts. It also reps actors such as Frances McDormand and Sarah Polley as well as the Wachowskis.
