DC fans, meet the Justice League.
The first concept art to be released for the 2017 Justice League movie, featuring Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and the first glimpse of the cinematic versions of Cyborg and the Flash, debuted on the newly launched DC Films Facebook page on Tuesday. (A spokesperson for DC Entertainment confirmed to THR that the page is indeed official, and not another fan page.)
While the image is intentionally vague in terms of what it reveals about each character’s look, it’s worth noting that, while Cyborg looks close to his comic book design, the Flash costume appears to ditch the traditional chest emblem — a lightning bolt cutting through a circle — for something more basic, with the direction of the lightning bolt also reversed from the comic book (and TV show!) norm of right-to-left.
The artwork’s debut comes ahead of the The Dawn of the Justice League TV special, airing Tuesday night on the CW, which promises to reveal new images, footage and information about the burgeoning DC cinematic universe spinning out of March’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
The launch of the DC Films Facebook page was just one of two DC-related social media launches on Tuesday; the Wonder Woman movie also launched its own Twitter account, complete with a new version of the movie’s double-W logo.
Justice League Part 1, starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher and Ezra Miller, will be directed by Zack Snyder and released Nov. 2017.
