Distribution banner Kaleidoscope Entertainment has coralled U.K. rights to Julian Gilbey‘s British adventure thriller A Lonely Place to Die, starring Melissa George and Ed Speleers.
Kaleidoscope Entertainment CEO Spencer Pollard described Gilbey’s film as “an edge of your seats’ ride which is very commercial for the U.K.”
The picture also stars Sean Harris and Karel Roden and follows a group of five mountaineers hiking and climbing in the Scottish Highlands. When they discover a young girl buried alive in a small chamber in the wilderness they become caught up in a terrifying game of cat and mouse with the kidnappers as they try to get the girl to safety.
Genesis Film Sales inked the deal with Pollard.
Genesis Film Sales is set up by veteran sales, finance and festival regular Ian Hall.
