Katey Sagal Joins ‘Pitch Perfect 2’

Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and Brittany Snow are returning to star in the music-themed movie.

Katey Sagal has joined the cast of Pitch Perfect 2, the sequel to 2012’s hit comedy from Universal Pictures and Gold Circle Films.

Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and Brittany Snow are among those reprising their roles, while Hailee Steinfeld is among the new performers. Sagal will play Steinfeld’s character’s mother.

Elizabeth Banks is directing the movie, which is currently in pre-production and will be released May 15, 2015.

Sagal is not just a Golden Globe-winning actress (for Sons of Anarchy) but also a singer in her own right. currently touring with her band in support of her latest CD, Covered.
