Katt Williams allegedly pulled a gun on a man outside the Comedy Store in West Hollywood, a law enforcement spokesman confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.
Police responded to a 911 call at 2 a.m. on Wednesday regarding an altercation between the stand-up comic and an unidentified male. Williams, 40, had left the scene by the time deputies arrived, but police spoke to the alleged victim and eyewitnesses.

The dispute “started inside [the club],” and then the two men “moved down the street a little bit,” Sgt. Dave Valentine told THR. At that point, Williams “allegedly produced a handgun and threatened the victim with it.”
A warrant has not been issued for Williams arrest, as police are “still writing the report, still investigating.” It is not known what the dispute was about, and Williams was not scheduled to perform at the club that night. THR has reached out to Williams and is awaiting comment.

Williams has had previous run-ins with the law. He was arrested in 2012 on suspicion of child endangerment and possession of a stolen firearm, although charges were never filed. That same year, his former personal assistant filed a lawsuit alleging that he hit her.
Williams appeared in 2013’s Scary Movie 5 and has a role in School Dance, which opened today in theaters and on VOD.
