Former Grey’s Anatomy star Oh will discuss her career highlights with Bailey during a Top Ten Film Festival stop in Vancouver on Jan. 18. Earlier, on Jan. 10, Canadian activist Naomi Klein and filmmaker Avi Lewis will take part in their own in-depth conversation in Toronto about This Changes Everything, an upcoming documentary based on Klein’s new book of the same name about capitalism and climate change.
Canadian films booked into the Top Ten Film Festival include David Cronenberg‘s Maps to the Stars, starring Julianne Moore, and Xavier Dolan‘s Mommy, both of which bowed at Cannes; Andrew Huculiak‘s Violent, which debuted in Karlovy Vary; and Maxime Giroux‘s Felix & Meira, judged the best Canadian feature at the Toronto Film Festival this year.
