In case Thor: Ragnarok didn’t seem appealing enough just yet, what about imagining the whole thing in Lego form, with added cameos from some other beloved characters from the comic book mythologies of both Hulk and Thor? If that sounds appealing, the latest trailer for Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 is ready to make your day.
In addition to appearances of Ragnarok‘s main heroes — and a couple of its villains, with Surtur and the Grandmaster showing up — the video offers blink-and-you’ll-miss-it glimpses at alternate versions of both the God of Thunder and Marvel’s Mean Green Smashing Machine, with Beta Ray Bill, Throg, the current Jane Foster Thor, the Maestro and even the Red Hulk joining the action.
A sequel to 2013’s Lego Marvel Super Heroes, Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 was co-written by comics veteran and former Avengers writer Kurt Busiek, and features a storyline that travels through time and crosses into alternate realities — which might explain why so many different versions of the heroes are coming out to play.
Not only does the trailer tease content inspired by the upcoming Thor movie, it also announces that the game’s Deluxe Edition season pass will include DLC inspired by Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War and Ant-Man and the Wasp. The game will be released Nov. 14 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC.
