Jaume Collet-Serra will direct The Commuter, which will reunite him with Liam Neeson, the star of Non-Stop and Run All Night.
Neeson is already attached to the thriller, which follows a man (Neeson) who gets caught up in a criminal conspiracy.
Studiocanal and The Picture Company’s Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman are producing the film. Lionsgate will release the film in the U.S. The title was a big seller at AFM.
Collet-Serra and Neeson have worked on several films together, including 2015’s Run All Night, 2014’s Non-Stop and 2011’s Unknown.
Collet-Serra is next directing The Shallows, about a young woman stranded alone on a buoy with a great white shark circling in the waters. He’s repped by CAA and Management 360.
