Lindsay Lohan may have spent less than four hours at a Los Angeles County jail before posting $75,000 bail Friday, but she still seething over the 120-day jail sentence connected to her jewelry theft case.
“She is fine,” the actress’ producer-pal Nathan Folks tells People. “Obviously, she is upset about [the sentence].”
On Friday, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner found Lohan, who is accused of stealing a $2,500 necklace, in violation of probation and sentenced her to the jail time and a hefty 480 hours of community service, which Folks called a “setback.”
The sentence Friday caught the actress off-guard because she’s “been working so hard on turning her life around,” says Folks.
Free on bail until her trial begins June 3, Lohan (who just landed a role in Fiore Films’ upcoming Gotti project) is prepared to accept whatever decision comes down from the court, says Folks.
“She is ready to do her time. She wants to go to A.A. and N.A. and to serve her [more than] 400 hours [of community service],” Folks says. “She has already been doing lots of charity work.”
