Lionsgate has extended its multiyear output deal for Summit Entertainment titles with Herbert Kloiber‘s Tele Munchen Group.
Under the expanded agreement, which Lionsgate and TMG negotiated at the European Film Market in Berlin in February, TMG will continue to take all rights for Summit titles in Germany and Austria.

The deal will cover upcoming Summit titles including Vin Diesel vehicle The Last Witch Hunter, Alex Proyas‘ period epic Gods of Egypt and the sequel to last year’s sleeper hit Now You See Me.
TMG released Summit’s Twilight Saga films in German-speaking Europe and will bow the group’s YA sci-fi title Divergent here next week.
Films produced by the Lionsgate label – including the upcoming Hunger Games films – will continue to go out in Germany via Studio Canal.
