In the case of Jurassic Park, the answer was 1997’s The Lost World: Jurassic Park, a sequel that critics and fans alike agreed fell short of Steven Spielberg‘s original.

On the bright side, the film recently provided Honest Trailers with plenty of comedic fodder, with its epic-voiced narrator knocking everyone from Julianne Moore‘s character, Sarah (“She’s the worst”) to Jeff Goldblum, who went from supporting player to star in this film. The clip also offers new spins on scenes from the original film.

Let’s hope Jurassic World, which opens Friday, fairs better than The Lost World: Jurassic Park.
