In a Super Bowl year with fewer trailers than audiences are used to, M. Night Shyamalan and Universal are making a splash with the first trailer for the mysterious Old.
The film, initially due out July 23, stars Gael Garcia Bernal, Thomasin McKenzie, Eliza Scanlen, Aaron Pierre, Alex Wolff, Vicky Krieps, Abbey Lee, Embeth Davidtz and Rufus Sewell. The trailer hints that the film will hit “this summer.”
The thriller’s trailer shows a family on vacation, when they discover the beach they’re on is causing them to age at a faster rate.
Shyamalan was last on the big screen with Glass, and also has a new season of Apple+’s Servant out now.
