Matt Damon, Sigourney Weaver and Russell Crowe will be on hand to toast Ridley Scott on Oct. 14 when the director receives the American Cinematheque Award at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
Crowe will serve as the evening’s host, while Damon will present the honor to the filmmaker during the Cinematheque’s annual benefit gala.
Weaver will deliver one of the night’s in-person tributes. Noomi Rapace, Katherine Waterston and Kristen Wiig also will pay tribute to the filmmaker behind Alien, Gladiator and Blade Runner, among others.
Also to be honored during the ceremony will be Warner Bros. president of worldwide marketing Sue Kroll. She is set to receive the Sid Grauman Award for her contributions to the industry. Bradley Cooper will present the honor.
