‘Moneyball’: Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill in New Trailer

Columbia has put out its first trailer for Moneyball, with Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill starring.

With its underdog-to-winner narrative arc, family backdrop and baseball milieu, the real-life-based movie fits the mold of many a sports drama that has come before. Meaning, it’s the kind of movie — see The Blind Side, The Rookie, Field of Dreams — that many people will go to see.

The film hits theaters September 23, right before the MLB regular season ends and chugs into the postseason.
