Tom Cruise brought The Mummy reboot to Hollywood Blvd. Saturday.
Cruise and the stars of the film unveiled a massive 75-foot, seven-ton sarcophagus at Hollywood and Highland, and it was all streamed live on Facebook (see below).
Director Alex Kurtzman and stars Annabelle Wallis, Sofia Boutella and Jake Johnson also attended the Mummy Day celebration.
The promotion is via Universal and RealD, and fans at the event also were treated to The Mummy VR Zero Gravity Stunt Experience — showcasing the much touted zero-g plane stunt from the film — and The Mummy Escape Game, an immersive game in which guests will be recruited as security guards who must solve interactive puzzles to save mankind.
The Mummy opens June 9 in RealD 3D and IMAX 3D.
Tune in today for an exclusive Facebook Live from #TheMummyDay in Los Angeles, with Tom Cruise and the cast.
