Nathalie Emmanuel will star alongside Ron Livingston and Erinn Hayes in the ensemble comedy Holly Slept Over from LD Entertainment.
The movie, which also stars House of Lies actor Josh Lawson and Man Seeking Woman star Britt Lower, will be the directorial debut of screenwriter Josh Friedlander.
“I’m very happy to be directing my first movie with such great people. But I won’t really feel like I’m living the dream until some anonymous strangers shit on me in the comment section of the press release,” said Friedlander.
Will Phelps and Glen Trotiner are producing, with Mason Novick, Jason Blumenfeld, Mary Pat Bentel and Josh Crook serving as executive producers. Jeremy Garelick is fully financing the movie, along with Mickey Liddell’s LD, which was behind last year’s awards contender Jackie.
Emmanuel was most recently seen in latest season of the HBO’s Games of Thrones, in which she plays Missandei, and the eighth installment of the Fast and Furious franchise. Livingston is set for the Audience Network series Loudermilk and will star opposite Charlize Theron in Jason Reitman’s Tully. Hayes most recently starred in the Kevin James CBS sitcom Kevin Can Wait and will next be seen in the Amazon series The Dangerous Book for Boys.
Holly Slept Over will begin production this month in Syracuse, New York.
