New Orleans Film Festival Announces 2015 Jury Award Winners

The 2015 New Orleans Film Festival (NOFF) award winners were announced at a Filmmakers Awards Ceremony and brunch at Republic New Orleans on Oct. 18. A small number of feature films and 124 shorts were selected to compete for jury awards.

Invisible (Niewidzialne), directed by Zofia Pregowska, won the short documentary jury award, which qualifies the film for an Academy Award nomination.

Cuban film Hotel Nueva Isla, directed by Irene Gutierrez, won for documentary feature and Embers, directed by Claire Carre won for narrative feature.
