The X-Men: First Class actor will star in the film that is based on true events. Mark Gordon will produce and Brit commercials director Seb Edwards, who has helmed spots for Nike, Adidas and the Red Cross, will make his feature debut with the film.
Sand Castle was written by Chris Roessner, Gordon’s former assistant. Roessner’s script cracked the 2012 Black List of top unproduced screenplays.
