Getty ImagesOscar hopefuls come one step closer to their golden moment as Academy Awards nominations are announced Thursday morning.
Guillermo del Toro, John Krasinski, Academy president Cheryl Boone Isaacs and Ang Lee are revealing the nominees in the 24 categories in a two-part announcement, from the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.
The winners will be revealed during the 88th Academy Awards, which airs Sunday, Feb. 28, live on ABC with Chris Rock acting as the night’s host.
