Sunday’s Oscar telecast featured many emotional and heartfelt acceptance speeches. However, not each of this year’s offerings is destined to be remembered.
Here are three speeches that made viewers a bit uncomfortable.

Best actor — Eddie Redmayne
The Theory of Everything star gave a very endearing speech, telling his wife about the “new fellow coming to share our apartment.” But the speech had a very strange moment when the actor reacted as though a bug had flown into his shirt. Video can be seen above.
Best live-action short — Mat Kirkby and James Lucas
Not many people spend their acceptance speeches discussing their love of “fantastic doughnuts,” as one of the Phone Call filmmakers did. Then, the two seemed in disagreement about how to allocate their time.
Best foreign-language film — Pawel Pawlikowski
The Ida director got cut off by the music, as often happens to winners. But he kept talking, and the orchestra actually got the hint.
