Eight films are nominated for the best picture Oscar this year.
The Revenant leads all nominated films with a total of 12, followed by Mad Max: Fury Road with 10.
Also vying for the award in the top category are The Big Short, Bridge of Spies, Brooklyn, The Martian, Room and Spotlight.

The Big Short
