Two days before the Oscars — where Room’s Jacob Tremblay, 9, and Beasts of No Nation’s Abraham Attah, 14, became the youngest actor-presenters in the ceremony’s history — the kids acted their age at Universal Studios.
“We were going on a scary water ride, and I hid and waited for him to come out, and I jumped out,” says Attah. Adds Tremblay, “I was so nervous because it was fast, and then he scared me!”
Other highlights for Tremblay were picking up a Harry Potter wand and spending time with his awards-season buddy, who was wiped out after their studio date. Says Attah, “I went on all the rides, and then I went back to my hotel room and fell asleep.”
