Oscilloscope Laboratories has acquired U.S. rights to Mark Magidson and Ron Fricke‘s Samsara, which had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. The indie distributor plans an August theatrical release.
Filmed over a period of more than four years in twenty-five countries on five continents, Samsara uses 65mm cinematography to document sacred grounds, disaster zones, industrial complexes and natural wonders as it explores the mundane and miraculous wonders of the world.
