The Palm Springs International Film Festival Society has revealed the dates for the 33rd annual Palm Springs International Film Festival.
After a year scrapped due to the COVID-19 pandemic, PSIFF will return and run through Jan. 6-17, 2022. The industry-favored Film Awards Gala is set for Jan. 6, 2022, at the Palm Springs Convention Center.
The 2021 installment did not take place as an in-person event though honorees like Riz Ahmed, Viola Davis, Andra Day, Anthony Hopkins, Daniel Kaluuya, Carey Mulligan, Leslie Odom Jr., Gary Oldman, Chloe Zhao and the cast of The Trial of the Chicago 7 were announced. But instead of making the trek to the desert, honorees were feted via an Entertainment Tonight segment.
Palm Springs ShortFest is still scheduled this summer, June 22-28. More information can be found here.
