"I'm going to miss the insanity over such a beautiful, small story – I don't think you get that very often," said Nat Wolff, who wore a navy Topman suit. "The movies that get the insanity are the movies with a lot of car chases, and people turning into vampires and things blowing up. This is a movie about five people or something, and that's the beautiful thing."

Author John Green may be celebrating the release of The Fault in Our Stars, but he is also currently keeping an eye on Paper Towns, his 2008 novel about a geeky high school senior’s search for the most popular girl, who disappeared on the eve of graduation.

The Fox 2000 project includes a handful of the key Fault collaborators, including screenwriting duo Michael Weber and Scott Neustadter, as well as Temple Hill producers Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen. Fault supporting actor Nat Wolff will star as Quentin, nicknamed Q.
“I can’t wait for everybody to see Scott and Mike’s script, and to see Nat as Q,” Green told The Hollywood Reporter at the Fault premiere in New York City on Monday. “Nat is such an extraordinary actor, and I can’t wait to hang out with him again. Maybe we’ll get the whole band back together!”
Wolff added that he read the book while filming Fault, at Godfrey’s suggestion. “When I was on set, Wyck Godfrey had it in his head — he’s like, ‘You should read Paper Towns.’ I read it, and then he called me, and before he could finish the sentence, I said, ‘Yes, of course.'”
“It’s begun!” Neustadter happily said on the blue carpet on Friday, while Weber explained, “We have started – we’re not allowed to say too much just yet, but we are very excited because Nat Wolff is gonna be in it, and he is so talented.”
Though Paper Towns marks their second Green adaptation, the project is a first for the screenwriting duo. “This is actually the first time we’ve written for an actor before we’ve started — we’ve never had that experience before,” said Weber. Still, Neustadter noted, “It really doesn’t change the process. We feel really comfortable with an actor like that. We’ll be able to write something and we know he’s either gonna be able to do it exactly right or he’s gonna make it even better.”

Weber added of the 19-year-old actor, who also appeared in Stuck in Love and Palo Alto, “The great thing is, we know Nat is funny, obviously, but he can really hit those moments of heart that are really our favorite moments, at the end of the day.”
The Fault in Our Stars hits theaters June 6.
