LeeAnne Stables has been named president, worldwide marketing partnerships and licensing at Paramount Pictures, where she will be responsible for managing corporate brand relationships in the theatrical and home media windows, film integrations and studio licensing.
Stables joined the studio in 2005 as head of global theatrical promotions and assumed additional responsibility in 2010 running the studio licensing division. In that dual role, she has brokered marketing support for Paramount film releases via corporate pacts and integrations with top brands for the studio’s films, while ramping up licensing efforts in support of Paramount’s new animation division and building the studio’s merchandising profile in China.
“LeeAnne is a proven executive who has delivered high impact results for the studio in many key areas. We are pleased to have her continue leading our initiatives with corporate brand partners, and now the important expansion of our studio licensing activities around the globe,” Rob Moore, Paramount vice chairman, said.
In the last 10 years, Stables has overseen all corporate tie-ins for the studio franchises Transformers, Star Trek and Mission: Impossible. She is currently developing global licensing and partnership programs in support of such upcoming theatrical release as Paramount Animation’s Monster Trucks as well as the sequels to Zoolander, Star Trek and Transformers.
