Paramount has shifted the release dates for a couple of its upcoming films, including the Terminator reboot and Alexander Payne‘s black-and-white drama, Nebraska. The studio also confirmed the release date for Transformers: Age of Extinction.
Terminator, a Skydance, Annapurna and Paramount production, has been moved from June 26, 2015, to July 1, 2015. The new date means the reboot will open two days before Fox’s Independence Day 2 and Universal’s currently untitled animated Illumination Entertainment project.

Transformers: Age of Extinction will open wide on June 27, 2014. Michael Bay‘s film starring franchise newcomer Mark Wahlberg currently has that summer date to itself.
Nebraska‘s limited release moves from Nov. 22, 2013, to Nov. 15, 2013, keeping the film in awards contention. The drama stars Bruce Dern and Will Forte as father and son who head off on a road trip when the dad is convinced he has won a sweepstakes and wants to collect his winnings.
