Paul Dano, Daniel Radcliffe and Mary Elizabeth Winstead will star in Swiss Army Man, which begins production in July.
Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert are directing the film, which was launched at the Sundance Lab, with the Tadmor Group and Cold Iron Pictures co-financing and producing.
The film centers around a hopeless man stranded in the wilderness who befriends a dead body with which he begins a journey to get home.
The film will be produced by Cold Iron Pictures’ Miranda Bailey and Amanda Marshall, Blackbird’s Lawrence Inglee, Jonathan Wang, The Tadmor Group’s Eyal Rimmon, and Lauren Mann. The Tadmor Group’s Gideon Tadmor and Jim Kaufman, and William Olsson are serving as executive producers.
The directing duo of Kwan and Scheinert, who are also known as Daniels, recently won best director at The MTV Music Awards. They have made their music videos and short films in conjunction with Prettybird Productions and are represented by Mosaic.
Dano is repped by WME, Anonymous Content and attorney Mitch Smelkinson. Radcliffe is repped by UTA, Sue Latimer at ARG and attorney Fred Toczek. Winstead is repped by UTA, and attorneys Karl R. Austen and Peter C. Sample.
