The Associated PressThe children of Roger Rodas, the driver of the car involved in Paul Walker’s fatal crash in 2013, are suing Porsche and a Porsche dealership for negligence and wrongful death.
According to court documents filed on Thursday, Rodas‘ son and daughter, via their legal guardians, filed suit against Porsche North America and the Dr. Ing HCF Porsche dealership. The children are seeking “general and special unspecified damages for loss of love and companionship, comfort, care, assistance, protection, affection and court costs.”
The suit alleges that the car company and dealership are liable as the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT Rodas was driving “went out of control due to the defect and failure of a suspension component in the right rear wheel area.”

In September last year, Walker’s daughter Meadow filed a wrongful death suit against Porsche alleging that the Carrera GT had numerous design flaws. Walker’s father also filed a negligence and wrongful death suit against Porsche in November last year.
