Birdman Still 3 - H 2014
Courtesy of Fox SearchlightBirdman won the Darryl F. Zanuck Award for outstanding producer of theatrical motion pictures at the 26th annual Producers Guild Awards on Saturday night.
Birdman producers Alejandro G. Inarritu, John Lesher and James W. Skotchdopole were announced as winners of the award at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza hotel in Los Angeles.
The Fox Searchlight Pictures production is nominated for nine Oscars, including best picture, best actor and best director.
Birdman was nominated alongside American Sniper, Boyhood, Foxcatcher, Gone Girl, The Grand Budapest Hotel and The Imitation Game.
