The Producers Guild of America announced today that Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos, Gravity’s Alfonso Cuaron and Veronica Mars creators Rob Thomas and Kristen Bell are among the honorees who will be feted at its 2014 Digital V.I.P. Awards.
The celebration, which will be held June 6 at Soho House in Los Angeles to kick off the 2014 Produced By Conference, recognizes “visionaries, innovators and producers that have made significant contributions to the advancement of digital entertainment and storytelling during the past year.

“In the past year we have seen exceptional invention and ingenuity in the world of digital media,” PGA presidents Mark Gordon and Hawk Koch said. “In an intensely competitive environment, these individuals and companies have managed to stand ahead of the pack by creating supreme standards for innovation, creativity, and technology. We look forward to celebrating their contributions to the digital industry at this year’s Digital V.I.P. Awards.”
The honorees for the 2014 Digital V.I.P. Awards are:
VISIONARIES:
Patricia Wilson, executive director of Make-A-Wish Foundation, Edwin Lee, Mayor of San Francisco, and the citizens of San Francisco for making a wish come true for five-year old Miles Scott, who became known as “Batkid”
Netflix Originals:Ted Sarandos, chief content officer of Netflix
INNOVATORS:
Wattpad; Alan Lau, CEO and Ivan Yuen, CTO
Snapchat:Evan Spiegel and Robert Murphy, co-founders
Vine; co-founders Dom Hofmann, Rus Yusupov and Colin Kroll
