Gone Girl star Rosamund Pike and The Killing star Joel Kinnaman are taking the plunge.
They are attached to star in The Bends, a diving adventure from producer Cybill Lui‘s newly formed Anova Pictures. Emerging filmmaker Jean Luc Herbulot (Dealer) is directing.
The film centers on a mysterious discovery at the bottom of the ocean that reopens old issues for a former combat Marine who is working to pay off his debt to the mob.

Pike also is attached to romantic drama The Mountain Between Us with Charlie Hunnam. She’s repped by CAA, United Agents in the U.K. and Magnolia Entertainment.
Kinnaman, who starred in RoboCop, has three films in post: Warner Bros.’ Run All Night with Liam Neeson, Summit’s Child 44 with Tom Hardy and Terrence Malick‘s Knight of Cups, which will screen at the Berlin Film Festival. He’s repped by WME, Magnolia Entertainment and Hansen, Jacobson. Herbulot is repped by WME and the Gotham Group.
