Other high-profile art-house titles confirmed for the Limelight sidebar include Ruben Ostlund‘s Force Majeure, Jessica Hausner‘s Amour Fou, Christian Petzold‘s Phoenix, Alice Rohrwacher‘s The Wonders and Abderrahmane Sissako‘s Timbuktu
Unlike Rotterdam’s main competition program, which only includes films from first- and second-time directors, the Limelight section is meant to highlight new works by established art-house filmmakers and celebrate recent success stories.
