Universal’s Warcraft debuted at the top of the Russian box office over the weekend, landing the year’s second-biggest opening behind only Deadpool. Duncan Jones’ game-based movie grossed $10.4 million, taking a 63 percent market share.
James Bobin’s Alice Through the Looking Glass debuted at No. 2. Disney’s new version of Lewis Carroll’s book took in $4.6 million.

Fox’s X-Men: Apocalypse fell to third place. Bryan Singer’s fourth entry in the X-Men franchise grossed $1.3 million in its second frame for a cume of $9.4 million.
Sony’s The Angry Birds Movie slipped to No. 4. The best-selling video game’s adaptation took in $711,000 in its third outing for a cume of $9.8 million.
The local plane-crash blockbuster Ekipazh (Crew) fell to fifth place. The remake of Alexander Mitta’s 1979 movie of the same title grossed $176,000 in its sixth outing for a cume of $22.2 million.
