Ryan Reynolds whipped Deadpool fans into a frenzy on Saturday when he tweeted a photo of the Merc with a Mouth hanging out in front of the X-Mansion.
“Dropped by the X-Mansion. Big f—ing surprise. No one’s home,” Reynolds posted along with the photo.
Deadpool, of course, visited the mansion in the original 2016 hit film about the Marvel Comics antihero.
How psyched were fans about the new image? Well, as of 3 p.m., Reynolds’ tweet had more than 20,000 retweets and 70,000 likes.
Deadpool 2 news has been really ramping up lately; Josh Brolin has been sharing more and more of his transformation into Cable via social media.
Brolin is getting jacked for the role and has even been complimented on his physique by another big Marvel star: Dave Bautista from Guardians of the Galaxy.
The Drax actor tweeted on Saturday that he was blown away by how great Brolin looks as Cable.
Deadpool 2 has a June 1, 2018, release date.
