AP ImagesThe cast of Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black was awarded outstanding performance by an ensemble in a comedy series on Sunday night.
Uzo Aduba, coming off a win for outstanding performance by a female actor in a comedy series, spoke on behalf of her castmates and thanked show creator Jenji Kohan, Netflix, Lionsgate and the many supporters of the comedy series.
“We want to say thank you for this incredible honor,” Aduba said. “Thank you very, very much.”
Orange Is the New Black was nominated alongside ABC’s Modern Family, CBS’ The Big Bang Theory, HBO’s Veep and Fox’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
