Sia and Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump will lend their musical talents to the animated comedy musical Charming.
Charming follows the story of three princesses who discover that Prince Charming is engaged to all of them at the same time.
Sia, a five-time Grammy nominee, has written two songs for the film. She is set to perform one of them, entitled “Balladino,” for the film, while the other, “Magical,” will be sung by the film’s lead Demi Lovato, who will also executive produce the movie soundtrack.
“There are not many performers confident enough to be part of the first soundtrack that I am executive producing,” said Lovato. “I am thrilled to welcome my friend and hero Sia to the movie.”
The “Chandelier” songstress will also voice the character of Half Oracle.
Stump will write and co-produce the song “Trophy Boy,” which will be performed by Charming co-stars Avril Lavigne, Ashley Tisdale and G.E.M.
Wilmer Valderrama will voice the philandering prince in the 3QU Media production, with Lavigne playing Snow White, Tisdale as Cinderella and G.E.M. as Sleeping Beauty.
Charming is written and directed by Ross Venokur, with John H. Williams (Shrek) acting as producer.
