Suicide Squad director David Ayer has been whetting fans’ appetites with photos of various castmembers in costume over the past several weeks, and on Sunday, he revealed the first image of the entire cast in costume.
“Task Force X assembled and ready,” he tweeted along with the photo. Warner Bros.’ all-star action movie features DC Entertainment supervillains.

Suicide Squad stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and Jared Leto as the Joker. Also in the mix are Joel Kinnaman, Cara Delevingne, Viola Davis, Adam Beach, Ike Barinholtz, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Scott Eastwood and Common.
There also possibly will be cameos from Jesse Eisenberg, who plays Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, as well as Ben Affleck‘s Batman. The two are rumored to appear as Warners builds its own cinematic superhero universe.
Ayer previously revealed photos of Leto and Smith, along with another shot of the entire cast — although the actors were not in costume.
The film’s story tells of imprisoned villains recruited by a government agency to perform covert operations. The movie is in production in Toronto.
6:32 p.m. May 3: Later on Sunday, Ayer tweeted a new photo of Smith as Deadshot.
