Sumner Redstone to Deliver Commencement Address at USC School of Cinematic Arts

Viacom chairman Sumner Redstone will deliver the commencement address at the 2011 USC School of Cinematic Arts graduation ceremony May 13 at the Shrine Auditorium.

Also at the graduation, Toy Story 3 director Lee Unkrich, an SCA alumnus, will receive SCA’s Mary Pickford Foundation Award, dean Elizabeth M. Daley said Tuesday.

“We couldn’t be more pleased that Sumner Redstone will address our graduating class. Beyond his tremendous accomplishments, he remains a steadfast and continuing iconic force in the entertainment industry,” Daley said. “We are also proud to honor Lee Unkrich, a distinguished alum whose tremendous success over the years has been our pleasure to witness.”
