ATO Pictures has acquired North American rights to the thriller Shadow Dancer, directed by James Marsh.

Andrea Riseborough, Clive Owen, Gillian Anderson, Aidan Gillen and Domhnall Gleeson star in the story of an Irish woman and IRA supporter forced to become a mole for British intelligence. Tom Bradby wrote the screenplay, which he adapted from his own novel.
Chris Coen, Andrew Lowe and Ed Guiney produced the project, which had its world premiere Tuesday at the Eccles Theatre in Park City. CAA negotiated the deal for the filmmakers.
Marsh directed the documentaries Man on Wire and Project Nim, which had their premieres at the Sundance Film Festival in 2008 and 2011, respectively. Man on Wire won the Oscar for best feature documentary.

ATO Pictures most recently released Casino Jack and Terri. Forthcoming releases include Last Call at the Oasis, The Oranges and Thin Ice, a crime drama that had its premiere at the 2011 Sundance fest.
Earlier Friday, Participant Media and the African-American Film Festival Releasing Movement picked up U.S. rights to the narrative competition drama Middle of Nowhere.
