TORONTO – Writer/director Jeff Kopas’ An Insignificant Harvey has been acquired by U.S distributor Film Movement for a March 2013 release.
The deal for the Canadian indie, negotiated by sales agent Shoreline Entertainment at Sundance, follows a fall 2012 release in Canada by Kinosmith.

The private equity film, which bowed in Busan, portrays a janitor at a small town ski resort, played by Jordan Prentice, whose life changes when he finds a stray husky and falls for an exotic dancer.
Executive produced by Don Carmody (Chicago), An Insignificant Harvey also stars Kristin Adams, Art Hindle and Steven McCarthy.
An Insignificant Harvey is produced by Don Carmody Productions, Vitality Media and Asher Films.
