TORONTO – Suresh John and Stephanie Pitsiladis (Hairspray) have joined the cast of writer/director Craig Goodwill’s fantasy drama Patch Town.
The project was previously shopped in Cannes as Boy Toy, with Lisa Ray, Julian Richings and Rob Ramsay toplining the feature film adaption of Goodwill’s 2011 short film Patch Town.
Alan C. Peterson (Sucker Punch) and Tom Barnett round out the ensemble cast for the feature, now shooting in Toronto.
Patch Town reunites the original cast for the short film, which bowed at the Toronto International Film Festival and screened in Cannes.
Written by Trevor Martin and Christopher Bond, Patch Town portrays an abandoned toy whose dream is to be reunited with his long lost adoptive mother.
Mark Montefiore (Cas & Dylan) is executive producing the picture.
