Midnight in Paris is the latest of Woody Allen‘s Eurocentic movies. The location move from New York to Europe has rejuvenated the filmmaker (Match Point and Vicky Cristina Barcelona are some recent examples), who still cranks out a film a year as he has for over three decades.
The trailer for Paris starts off on questionable ground — Owen Wilson seems a bit out of place, some have noted — but just as we are shown Paris coming alive at night, so does the trailer. And yes, that includes Wilson too.
