The trials and tribulations of former NBA star Allen Iverson are set to be examined in a documentary making its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on Sunday.
The trailer for Iverson, from director-producer Zatella Beatty, presents the point guard as a player whose “style shocked the league” throughout his 14-year career in the NBA.
The clip features commentary from Miami Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade, former NBC Nightly News anchor Tom Brokaw and Iverson’s former coach Larry Brown. Iverson himself is also seen reflecting on his career.
The 97-minute film will screen at Tribeca at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
