British actress Lucy Punch has moved from CAA to UTA, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned.
Punch has a penchant for hilarious characters, including playing a fairy-tale stepsister twice, in Into the Woods and Ella Enchanted. Her other movie credits include Peter Bogdanovich’s She’s Funny That Way, A Little Bit of Heaven opposite Kate Hudson, Bad Teacher (in which THR called her “the picture’s most entertainingly unhinged element“), Woody Allen’s You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger and Dinner for Schmucks featuring Steve Carell and Paul Rudd.
Having most recently appeared in the Sony comedy The Meddler, which starred Susan Sarandon and Rose Byrne and premiered at Toronto last year, Punch is currently filming the indie comedy You, Me and Him as one half of a lesbian couple that befriends their neighbor (David Tennant).
The actress’ stateside TV appearances include New Girl, Robot Chicken and Kroll Show, as wellas series-regular gigs on Fox’s Ben and Kate and CBS’ The Class.
Punch continues to be repped by United Agents in the U.K. and by MGMT.
