Nickelodeon star and singer Victoria Justice and up-and-comer Pierson Fode have signed on to star in the indie Naomi + Ely’s No Kiss List.
The romantic comedy is based on the popular young-adult novel by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan (Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist).

Directed by Kristin Hanggi (Broadway’s Rock of Ages), the story revolves around NYU freshmen and childhood neighbors Naomi (Justice) and Ely (Fode), who have been in love with each other their whole lives, even though Ely isn’t exactly into girls. The institution of a “No Kiss List” has prevented the two from rifts in the past, but their bond is tested when they both fall for the same guy. The once inseparable pair must figure out if they can let go and grow up.
Amy Andelson and Emily Meyer (Step Up 3D) adapted the screenplay.
Naomi + Ely’s No Kiss List is produced by Alexandra Milchan (The Wolf of Wall Street), Lesley Vogel, Emily Gerson Saines (Temple Grandin), Hanggi and Bob Abramoff (Detention). Skip Klintworth is exec producing.
The film is shooting in New York City.
Justice is best known as the singer and breakout Nickelodeon star of Victorious. She also starred in Paramount’s teen comedy adventure Fun Size.
She is repped by UTA.
