Skydance Interactive, a division of Skydance Media, will unveil details about its upcoming virtual reality title, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, on Wednesday at San Diego Comic-Con.
It’s being developed in partnership with Skybound Entertainment, the company founded by The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman.
Set in the flooded remains of New Orleans, the game challenges players to make their way through the quarters, as they explore what has become a brutal wasteland, according to Skydance. A 2019 launch is planned.
At Comic-Con, Skydance and Skybound plan to showcase the teaser art for the VR experience, along with more art and panels for fans of The Walking Dead, at the Harbor House Restaurant in San Diego. The teaser will also be discussed during Skybound’s The Walking Dead livestreams from Comic-Con.
On Tuesday, Skydance released its latest VR title, Archangel: Hellfire, a multiplayer game that is a successor to its VR shooter game Archangel.
