Warner Bros. has set a Sept. 3, 2021 release date for Hugh Jackman’s Reminiscence.
Director Lisa Joy’s sci-fi action thriller, which also stars Thandie Newton and Cliff Curtis, will debut in theaters and on HBO Max. An international release for Reminiscence will kick off on August 25, 2021.
Warner Bros. earlier announced that its 2021 slate of films will be released simultaneously on HBO Max and in U.S. theaters in a move that shortened the traditional theatrical window.
The Warner Bros. pic stars Jackman as Nick Bannister, a private investigator of the mind who helps clients access lost memories. His life is forever changed when he takes on a new client, Mae, played by Rebecca Ferguson, only to uncover a violent conspiracy and ultimately have to answer the question: how far would you go to hold on to the ones you love?
The ensemble cast includes Marina de Tavira, Daniel Wu, Mojean Aria, Brett Cullen, Natalie Martinez, Angela Sarafyan, Nico Parker.
Joy, Jonathan Nolan, Michael De Luca and Aaron Ryder share the producer credits.
