Wes Bentley and Jaimie Alexander will star in psychological thriller Broken Vows, which will mark the feature directorial debut of the Belgian commercial director Bram Coppens.
From a script by James Agnew and Sean Keller, Broken Vows tells the tale of a charming yet troubled man named Patrick (Bentley) who seduces Tara (Alexander), but when she rejects him, he is sent spiraling into madness and delusion, erupting into psychotic rage.

Wendy Benge (Life of Crime, Life After Beth) is producing the indie, and Larry Ladove (The Butler, Life of Crime) will serve as executive producer. The project, which is financed by Stonecreek Films, is slated to go into production in late June.
Bentley’s recent projects have included The Hunger Games, Lovelace and indie The Better Angels. He’ll be seen in Christopher Nolan‘s upcoming film Interstellar as well as Terrence Malick‘s Knight of Cups, and Welcome to Me alongside James Marsden and Will Ferrell. He’s repped by WME, Untitled Entertainment and Morris Yorn.

Alexander played Lady Sif in Thor and its sequel Thor: The Dark World. Previously appearing in actioner The Last Stand, Alexander has completed work on the upcoming film London Fields starring Johnny Depp. She’s repped by WME, Mosaic and Ginsburg Daniels.
Agnew and Keller, who wrote the Nicolas Cage starrer Rage, are represented by Industry Entertainment and Paradigm.
