The genetically #blessed offspring of Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz debuted the new ‘do on Instagram on Tuesday, though it appears that her decision to chop her signature long braids was due to her upcoming role in the sci-fi thriller, Allegiant: Part 1.

The star captioned the shot of the cut, which looks to be quite a few shades lighter than her naturally dark brunette locks, “She’s baaaaccckkkk. #Christina #allegiantpt1.”
